In 2015 we came across the extraordinary story of Mahendra Ahirwar, from central India, and our interview and images were used on news sites all over the world. In 2016 we partnered with a specialist production company and produced a documentary for UK’s Channel 5 called ‘The Boy Who Sees Upside Down’. It followed Mahendra’s difficult life and saw him go through life changing surgery. It was a hugely popular documentary subsequently aired on TLC and Discovery Channel.

At the end of 2016, Mahendra sadly died of causes unrelated to his surgery. We dedicate this page to his bravery and shining smile.
